Sarah has collaborated with changemakers from the public, private, nonprofit and government sectors on strategic, mission-driven social impact solutions for 20 years. Sarah was vetted and selected along with 400 Americans as a U.S. Department of State Fulbright Specialist to represent the U.S. abroad on critical social impact projects identified by the U.S. Embassy and international institutions. Her firm, Benefactions was selected (among organizations like Google and Xcel Energy) as a network partner for Billions Act, the 8-time nominated Nobel Peace Prize Peace Initiative, orchestrated by 14 Nobel Peace Prize Laureates. In addition to nonprofit and public figure advisement, Sarah has advocated social impact through film, publications, and public policy. She is the author of The Dalai Lama-Scientist: A Guide for Study and Discussion, for the award-winning documentary by The Nobel Legacy Film Series. Sarah advocated for the importance of social impact by writing Proclamations for “Nonprofit Awareness Month’ for the state of Colorado and ‘National Arts and Humanities Month” for North Carolina, both which became Official State Proclamations, raising state-wide awareness and initiatives. She is a Producer for TEDx, and Executive Producer of "The Horse", a social impact film by Emmy-Nominated Director, Lotje Sodderland. Sarah is a member and Emmy judge for social impact entries at The National Academy of Television Arts & Science.
Sarah graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Public Administration and emphasis in Public Policy from Drake University. She received a course certification in ‘Social Impact Strategy: Tools for Entrepreneurs and Innovators’ from University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Society for Public Administration, and the United Nations Association of the USA.
