Recognized as a “Social Impact and Community Engagement Expert'' by Forbes, Sarah Hamilton, MPA has led changemakers from the public, private, nonprofit and government sectors to strategic social impact solutions with mission-driven results for 20 years. Her work as a Social Impact and Public Service Consultant has included The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate-led nonprofit, PeaceJam. For her commitment to public service and volunteerism, Sarah was awarded the “President’s Call to Service Award" from President Barack Obama and the U.S. President's Council on Service & Civic Participation.
Sarah was selected by the U.S. Department of State as a Fulbright Specialist to represent the United States on critical social impact priorities with international institutions and U.S. Embassies. As a recognized leader in nonprofit and social impact projects in the US and internationally, Sarah’s collaborations include the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate-led nonprofit - PeaceJam, The Dalai Lama, South Africa Princess Zulu, Bono's One Campaign, World Vision, Professional Athletics (NBA, NFL, NHL), the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Halloween’s Michael Myers’ actor, James Jude Courtney, United States of America’s Ms. Colorado, Emmy and Peabody winners.
In addition to consulting, Sarah advocates social change through film, publications, and policy. She is the author of The Dalai Lama-Scientist: A Guide for Study and Discussion, for the award-winning documentary by The Nobel Legacy Film Series. Sarah advocated for the importance of social impact by writing Proclamations for “Nonprofit Awareness Month’ for the state of Colorado and ‘National Arts and Humanities Month' for North Carolina, both which became Official State Proclamations, raising state-wide awareness and initiatives. She is a Producer for TEDx and an Executive Producer of "The Horse", a short social impact film by Emmy Nominated Director Lotje Sodderland. Sarah is a member and Emmy judge for public service and social impact entries at The National Academy of Television Arts & Science.
